We need your help with scaling and leading a truly great company where everyone identifies with our mission and values, is inspired and appreciated, is welcomed and respected, and has an opportunity to grow, learn, and make an impact. We will look to you for fostering our culture, helping us overcome challenges that come with rapid scaling, and building and leading a great global People team.

You will report to the CEO and lead a team of 12 professionals in people operations, talent acquisition, D&I, and learning & development in 6 countries across Europe, the US and Asia. The global People Operations team supports a staff of 170+ and is supposed to grow to 240 by the end of 2022.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a People strategy that facilitates and supports the planned growth and maturation of our company, including HR-business partnering, global compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development, and employer branding
  • Advise & work closely with the Founders in building out and maintaining our unique culture & values, decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity
  • Lead our global team of People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development
  • Lead the transition of Remerge becoming a permanent remote-first company
  • Streamline reporting and monitor HR and Talent Acquisition KPIs to identify optimization needs, support your strategic planning and inform stakeholders to enable better decision-making
  • Enable our team to deliver an outstanding employee and candidate experience, fast-pace and high quality recruiting to let our ambitious hiring plan become a reality
  • Build trusted relationships with our employees, leadership team, and our founders and become their strategic sparrings partner
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws and industry best practices in partnership with our legal department
  • Be a leading member of the management team that embraces the company’s culture and is a positive force multiplier of our values

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an HR professional, preferably in a fast-growing tech and scale-up environment
  • Proven track record of building highly effective and impact-driven HR teams by utilizing well-honed leadership qualities
  • Prior experience scaling teams and organizations internationally (ideally from 100 people to 500)
  • Experience in strategic planning and ability to implement it into an effective, long-term scalable plan and action measures
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create, communicate and direct a team to achieve the company’s vision
